    First unread post option

I use tapatalk to browse the site on a SGS5. At first the 'go to first unread post in thread' option worked fine. Sometime recently that option has instead been taking me to the 'last read post' in each thread.

This is a minor annoyance when the last post that I read was short and my memory is great.

It's a major annoyance when the last post that I read was long, or I don't remember that I've already read that content straight away. Waste time re-reading or swipe-scrolling to find the next post that I haven't yet read.

    Any suggestions or similar experiences?

PS jaywire, your posts with the fancy background coloring are virtually impossible to read when using tapatalk in night mode. Not a big deal, the occasional challenge is enjoyable.

Tapatalk is a 3rd party app, nothing we can do about it, if its not working correctly.

as for fancy background coloring? I have no idea what this looks like, do you have a screen shot

Sure, I realize it's third party and may be the source of the problem. I figured it didn't hurt to ask in case it was a site setting/issue that tapatalk was being subject to.

Here are two screen caps - the second one shows the odd background colouring results, I presume you don't normally change the defaults which is what the first one likely shows.

This one I can help with- select the post. If you tap on it, it highlights it and you get a better contrast on the font. It's just that this post has the font colour set in bb code, so Tapatalk reads it as such and can't override it to its default colour. (You can see the coding if you quote it on the browser view).

          That's a great idea, thanks!
