Complete hit and miss here. And it seems regardless of the network I use. Must be something on your end. You dump your cache lately?

And yet, after nearly 10 years of government by Stephen Harper and his anti-choice army, you can still get an abortion in Canada. At this point, the political right’s agenda is so well hidden Sherlock Holmes couldn’t find it with a Huawei P30 powered by a trillion Watsons.

Funny. I haven't had slowness issues except solely with clicking Like. That used to be a split second thing now it is slow to the point of the entire page refresh after clicking Like being noticabable.
Another issue, is that it is hit and miss whether or not the toolbar is there or not when I click reply or start a new thread.
But speed? Never been a problem.
EDIT: my guess is the issues people have been having is related to GOC now being hosted on the LiteSpeed web server platform. I don't think it has enough history and market share to have its problems (as any software has) worked out. Personally I'd stick with Apache or nginx. I'd never heard of Lightspeed until I checked to see what GOC was running today, and I'm a full stack web developer by trade.Last edited by Doug_M; 11-27-2018, 06:10 AM.Our freedoms ARE the greater good.

Wile the displays is wrong, the search only takes 0.03 seconds, if I click the last message icon (>>) for any of the threads on this page, the resultant page is correctly formated but take 5 to 10 seconds to load.Magua took the hatchet to colour with blood...It is still bright.

Test site 2: Load Time - 2.1 sec (Chrome) No errors

Results are saying that if your using Firefox or EI, there are errors that are stopping from loading the site quickly.
These are not errors with the site, but compatibility of the browsers to the site.
You have have had good access before, as browsers change settings in their software this can affect some of the sites you use.
GOC has always recommended using Chrome for using our site. Users are welcome to use whatever they want though.Originally posted by Forbes/HuttonI was hoping he would show up and do something useful in front of the cameras. Same here with slowness for the past week+.
Doesn't matter what browser I try, IE, Edge, Chrome, Firefox, and Opera tried all of them, same results.
Cleared cache/cookies/etc, no help.
My speed (I have Gb internet)
Seeing this also when I click "What's new..."
And finally, trace route:
This site is the only site I visit that is slow/corrupted.

When I login, I get a
vBulletin Message
Invalid Redirect URL (http://gunownersofcanada.ca/)
I usually use Microsoft Edge or Firefox.
I just tried Chrome, and it made no difference at all. Same speeds, at the same spots, and the same incorrectly displayed "What's new at GOC" page.
I just tried Internet Explorer (with scripting disabled), and it made no difference at all. Same speeds, at the same spots, and the same incorrectly displayed "What's new at GOC" page.

I just had the same issue, I checked both before and after the link from google took me to www. no http or https, when it logged in from the www. it gave me that address but redirected me to https when logging in again it works fine.
Seems to be an old link error

This is bizarre.... Seems like at least 3 people are seeing what I'm seeing.
I'm not using my ISP's (Rogers) DNS servers, I'm using Google's:
8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4
So when I have time later, I'll revert back to my ISP's DNS servers to see if that makes a difference (it really shouldn't though).
Will report back later.

PS - I also have 2 other computers besides this one, and an iPad and a Pixel 2 XL, I'll try the site from all of them as well. When you ignore history, you become its next example.

It's a rare issue it seems.
I have 3 desktops running windows 10, one mac, one ipad, 2 androids and haven't been able to replicate the issue with my own computers.
For the Slow down issue, the only time I have some slow down is the huge threads like the picture thread.
I've tried via several VPN servers too, to see if its an geographical issue (yeah I know even rarer issue) with no luck

Ok, so here is what I found:
Changing DNS servers made no difference.
Tried from 2 different computers other than my desktop, an ASUS laptop and a Dell Optiplex Media PC. No change.
Tried from my iPad Pro 9.7" and my Pixel 2 XL, no change, same results.
Tried from my cellular network (same as my hard-line ISP, Rogers) on the above 2 devices, same issue again.
So.... from what I can tell about the previous posts in this thread, this seems isolated to those of us in Ontario???
Is it also isolated to those who use Rogers?????
For those of you posting about slowness and corrupted/mis-formatted "What's new...." pages, please post your geographical location and your ISP please!
