Hey Mods - I cannot see videos, including the ones I posted

For quite a while now, a month or more, I have been unable to see videos in threads.

That includes the YouTube vids I posted a year or more ago, and the one I posted the other day on Civil Asset Forfeiture.

Yes, I’m annoyed.

I can watch it on my 12 year old win XP computer, and there's a whole bunch of youtube videos I can't. Facebook vids and gifs don't work either.

So the problem isn't the site, as I went to the thread and watched it.
Something's gone wrong in your settings somewhere.

This is what youtube vidoes look like to me.

But what causes that is uBlock Origin plugin. There's probably some rule/setting I could use to activate them.
It's one of the reasons I always include the title of any youtube video I post here -- so that anyone else with the same 'protection' doesn't have to click on the video to see what it is.

I have no problem with your answer, except that it isn’t particularly helpful as I pretty much had that part figured out.

Just a white area shows. Not even a little box. If I hit reply with quote the link is there.

Same here, but the link isn’t always there with reply with quote.
