    Log in problem

I have no problem logging into any of the Marketplace categories with the exception of the Antique Black Powder category .
When I try , the Antique Forum post new thread page opens.
Any ideas to solve this ? Thanks

    Hmm, no idea why.
There's only one ad in there, stevebc selling a Connecticut Valley Arms "Mountain" pistol in .50 cal.

Have you selected the Keep me signed in box when you logged it?
Because if not, you will have to log in again each time you switch pages.

          1) You don't need to logon every time you go to a different forum section.
          2) When you go to the Exchange of Antique Firearms, Black powder, and Modern Muzzle loaders section, what do you see? What do you mean by "new thread page"?

          Is this what you see?

Have you scrolled down a bit? As mentioned, there's only one ad in that section. Perhaps you missed it because it doesn't stand out all that much from the rest of the layout.

That's not howt he "Remember Me" option works. And you don't have to logon every time you go to a different page.

When you logon without the option, you can browse from one page to another without having to logon. You can open new tabs in your browser and go to a different page on the same site, and you won't have to logon again. This is called a browser session. Until you click Logout or until you close the browser, that session is alive and will keep you logged on for a duration confured in the cookie by the site admin.

When you logon with the option, the session stays alive even when you close the browser, because a different cookie is used, which keeps you logged on for a duration configured by said cookie by the site admin. If you clock Logout or if you clear your cookies from your browser, you have to logon again.

Perhaps you have your browser settings configured such that cookies are cleared in a non-standard manner, which might explain why you get logged out when you switch pages. That's not the standard functionality of these session cookies or that of the browser.

No problems here, using Brave on Linux Mint 20 and on Android 12 (Calyx OS).
