    Printable Targets

What does everyone use for printable targets, if you use them I guess?

And what reasons do you use the one you do?

Well, depending on where I'm working I have some large plotters and printers at my disposal. And assorted graphics programs for designs and overlays on images. Depending on shooting mood, almost any kind of pattern or theme can be made.

Internet has a lot of targets available without any work. If 8x11 works for you, go crazy. However, there's some 11x17 colour printers available pretty cheap as well. Replace the black cartridge in a inkjet monochrome printer for a better colour helps as well. Just tape over ports of whatever you've got out.

Free targets that are printable in pdf format. Rifle, pistol, airgun, benchrest, silhouette and other paper targets

Both have a bunch of good ones.
Find a few that you like and print them out.
Take them to the range and shot them.
Figure out which ones you like.
The ones you thought were great when sitting at your computer are not likely the ones you'll like at the range.

Once you've decided the 'keepers', print out one of each.
Take them to Staples, and print out 100 of each.
Copies are 10 cents apiece for black&white; printing them at home will drain a cartridge pdq.

I made my own, but I don't have a copy of it online. Picture a blank sheet of paper with a 3/4" black dot in the middle of it. Now put a 1/4" white dot in the middle of the black. That's my entire target.

I've used DND black target patches (about 1 1/8" square) with an orange 1/4" dot in the center for 100 yd targets.

Printable targets here too. Even though the OP is old. Use the one you need or just want to use. Sighting in targets make sighting in easier.

Just plainly all over the internet. Personally I rather steel due to the report and the fact it last for a long time. There is AR500 target plate for $50 that I pain on grabbing.

I'll be making my own for a while, cut the size target I need from some old blinds and use a sharpie to mark what I want for a aiming point. Usually a circle some times a square.

I find them very difficult to put in the three-ring binder though.

I use champion targets, the 5 aiming points in diamond shapes. There's actually like at least 10 aiming points I actually use on the target aside from the bullseyes.

For printing my own, a sharpie mark on a piece of paper suffices.
