i'm in. fingers crossed. Thanks

This is pretty darn awesome! Thanks GOC and AmmoSupply.ca!!!

Kate has been so nice and I have ordered so much from her that I think I may have personally funded this contest.

(That's a shout out for the rest of you, start ordering from Ammo SUpply because their customer support is awesome, dammit!).

Entered! Thanks GOC and Ammo Supply. Great contest to keep my fillies fed.

Thank you for bringing such great contests!

I'm seeing a lot of people posting and entering this contest who have single digit post counts.

Is there a minimum for these contests that demonstrates a person is actually a contributing member of the forum?

I'm not suggesting anything crazy like 500+ posts, but maybe a 50-100 minimum?

Awesome prize. Thanks Guys and Gals

It's a great way to drive more traffic to the site.

No sorry we will not be adding a restriction.

We all had 1 post at one time, even myself.

I completely agree with that, but you and I have kept contributing since our first post, where as some may just join the forum, enter contests, and never contribute anything else.

Half of the people posting above (10) have less than 10 posts.

I agree that everyone has to start with Post 1, but is someone really "worthy" of being entered into giveaways for site members if all the ever do is enter contests?

Oh quit trying to boost your chances ;). People can frequent the forum without saying much too, post count isn't everything. Some of us are just louder than others.

I have a low post count by I frequent this site every other day or so when I get a chance. The Contests are there to drive membership, with hopes that more and more will contribute. Every contest I share on social media to hopefully bring in more members like many other people do. Also like many people find what they need from other posts without having to start a new thread. SO adding a limit for min. posts is a bad idea and will be seen as an old guys club thing only to potential new members. Which will just then go else where, contests or not.

1. That is a good point, and I will grant you that.

2. I'm not sure having something like a 50 post minimum is going to make people think it's an old boys club. Someone could easily do that in a week, without even bumping their post count with "Welcome to the forum" types of posts on the newby threads.

It's moot point anyway, because jwire said there wouldn't be a post limit, and that's the final answer.
