Android keyboard pops up on every page navigation

On Android when navigating to a new page, the keyboard keeps popping up, something is probably requesting keyboard focus, but when I type I don't see anything being filled in.

Occurs on

Brave
Chrome

but not

Firefox
Fennec

so it seems to be a Chrome based browser issue.

I get the same on a chromium browser with a Microsoft surface with the keyboard stowed.

I hear it goes away if you buy more stuff from the new site owner.

I still get the keyboard and login request when I’m on my iPad. If I’m on my phone and I go landscape scrolling causes the screen to shake up and down. I’ve learned to tolerate these things but still don’t like them
