Will 7.62x39mm set it off? Seems to be the only high power rifle round I have sighted in.

So a crappy tire saw horse with a 2x4 on top of it cannot withstand a shockwave target.
It's been ripped in two, but I think adding another 2x4 to the top I can keep using it.

Has anyone tried shooting it while on the ground, and weighted down?
ie, except for a place to actually shoot it, cover it with soil/clay.

Just wondering if it would excavate a hole.

I just got 20 pounds of 1/2 pound targets the other day. If the UPS driver was a girl, I would have kissed her!!!! I can't wait to get out!!!!
