Have you ever done up lace on type recoil pads?

My dad has a Uberti 1885 Highwall that he can't shoot because the crescent butt kills his shoulder. I'd been looking into pads that fill in the middle and essentially make it like a shotgun butt, but never got around to ordering one.
 
I am truly blessed with repeat customers... and Mike is certainly the best customer I have! His projects are always interesting, and he even spoils his wife....
