This is a forum about technical things, many of which require
the use of a specific word. Unfortunately, it seems someone
has turn on the clean language filter.

This becomes difficult when faced with some technical terms.
"Someone in our gun ***ociation said to use a flat b*****d file
to trim my br***" No puppies were killed in the original sentence,
but the filters don't like it.

Let it be known that foul language is not tolerated, have mods
clean up anything that slips through, and things will
self-regulate pretty quickly.

yeah, it's hard to talk about cl***es without drawing attention to the fact that the word contains *** in it...

As the forum grows it is simply too hard to police every language infraction.

I agree that some words like bastard file, and br*** could be an issue, but it is early in the development of the tools and protocols here.

Give the admin some time to sort things out, and make your opinion known.

It has been made clear to me that this forum is centred around it's membership so I am sure they will do all they can to find a happy medium.

yeah, in the musical thread, the word ba*ss as in ba*ss guitar is being filtered.

Bra*ss is a problem, being an extremely common component.
