I'm impressed that you managed to get quotes around anything without it kicking back an error.

The post editor has two modes :
- BB Code only (editing buttons disabled)
- editing buttons enabled
I find that "BB Code only" is more forgiving of unusual punctuation,
whereas "editing buttons enabled" gives me errors from time to time.
A solution is to push the TOGGLE BB CODE button to get into BB Code Only. Then you can push POST REPLY without error.
This isn't 100% of the time of course. For example here I had single dashes before the two modes, and got an error; but when I changed the single dashes into bb code [ list ] [ * ] [ * ] [ / list ] it liked that.

Still cant post pictures anymore, I used to be able to but something changed recently, and not from my end.

They're working on it, thought it might be resolved last night but still a no go for me too

Interesting. I just tried to add some observations and got intercepted by the Central Scrutinizer (the "oops" message).
There was some punctuation that I parsed out after the first rejection. Tried again with just 3 simple sentences, no "point form" spacing. Also failed. One long run-on sentence without periods also failed.
I was also able to read your post number 50 without logging in. I did have to log-in to respond.

That's going to be very annoying with the laugh thread. I gather them up into a pile and post better than 10 a minute there.

You can shorten that delay by not posting duplicates of earlier posts, lol!

Any idea when the picture/image posting issue some of us have is going to be resolved/fixed?
Both times I try with the browsers I use to log into GOC are still telling me they are having Oopsies!

I got the "Oopsie, I've done the software equivalent of Joe Biden shatting his suit" message when I logged in today yet everything was functioning as normal (except pic posting). It was an unusual welcome.
Another odd behaviour that I've noticed since rejoining this sweaty fold: sometimes when I open a thread for the first time during a particular session it opens to the most recent post, other times it opens to post number 1 of the thread. Both threads have had posts added the same day before I accessed them to read the new posts. Random problem as it doesn't always function that way.

Comparing those numbers to the previous vbulletin version of GOC, it appears even the guests and bots are giving up on this new version.
I had to do this post twice, the first attempt didn't like a hyphen between v and bulletin nor quotation marks around guests.

If you've opened the last page in a thread, the next time you open the thread you're taken to the first page.
i.e. If you've read the last post in a thread, the next time you open the thread it takes you to the beginning (first post first page) of the thread.
If there's a new post added since you've read the thread, the next time you open the thread you're taken to the first unread post (usually on the last page or so).
I had a post rejected a few times, I even removed all punctuation and it still wouldnt go through
Making navigation easier is behind getting everything working without errors, including pictures.
