Forum Update: Migration from vBulletin to XenForo

Things seem to be working well for me. Using Xenforo it's much easier to post from my Android device so that is a big improvement right there.

Today, I'll put 3 memes per post in the Laugh thread. That'll make posting 3x faster, but limit likes if one-out-of-three the beholder feels is ppor.
 
Time limit between posts might get looked at in the near future Bob, but right now making sure any coding errors are dealt with first is the priority.
 
One issue that has been quietly irritating me is whenever I hit the new posts or home page buttons while on my phone the keyboard pops up, even though there is no text field to fill in.
I knock it back down and get on with my day, but it's the only place on the internet that does that.

Also, just now, I put quotation marks around new posts and home screen, and it wouldn't post it.
Erased the quotation marks, and it would post.

Interesting, not doing it on my phone. Android or apple? What app?

It does the same thing on mine. I'm running Android 14 on a Ulefone Armor 24. Bring up the drop down menu on the top left. Click on new posts, and the phones keyboard comes up. Touch anywhere else on the screen and it goes way.

I'm using an Android device and I also get the keyboard immediately when selecting the new posts button. Home page gives me the full view, no keyboard.
 
It doesnt let me fill anything on the page in either, but the prompts on my keyboard screen have password related stuff, if that helps.

I really don't understand why this one is proving to be so difficult to set up. Why not just do it like all the rest do it?
Yes, that's a broad, sweeping generalization about something i don't fully understand, but what am missing here?
