Gun Owners of Canada Challenge Coin Official Thread.

Well we have our first stolen coin.... someone at Canada post opened up SFRCs envelop.

Well those dirty rotten...

Reissue?

Yes, he sent a picture and we are waiting for a new number to be picked, also contacted Canada post to let them know....

Hopefully they find the person that stole.... a brass coin...

If we do find him, are we allowed to flip him to see if he comes up heads or tails? :)

I won't share my views on thieves lest my potty mouth earns another infraction...but I think we all share that view.

Coin 75 now includes a hidden prize for the new owner.

everyone on the list (except some mods) have been sent.

Did anyone get theirs yet?

I just realized that posts in the Word Association Thread don't count towards post count - no wonder it's taken me so long to break 1000, forget 4000!

So I'm curious - what other threads don't count towards your post count?

I did :) thanks, they look absolutely awesome. I really appreciate the energy you guys put into that. I have it with me at all times - I'm pretty sure candy and strewth are lurking just waiting for their chance... :)

OT doesn't count.

Otherwise me and Foxer would be at 100k posts...

I'd like coin #54 if some fine gents would speak up for me. As for contributing to the community I enjoy educating and introducing new shooters in a safe and fun manor. I encourage as many people as possible to get their RPAL and engage in busting myths on social media.

A PM has been sent to all members that should have had theirs issued to them in the mail.

If you get it please PM me and if not (within a week) or a letter shows up opened without the coin let me know that too, Canada Post is refunding the cost to reproduce the coins, but it may be awhile before they are completed.

Sorry

Arrived and in a special place.

seems like its only the companies so far....

Wolverine Supplies coin Stolen...

I be calling CP and going to a supervisor. 3 being stolen, time for the police to get involved.

Mine hasn't shown up either, so it's not just companies. I'm in the same province as well, so it should have made it's way here already :(

CP is determined to make sure people go elsewhere for shipping stuff eh?

Maybe the posties thought they were full of chocolate and bacon? I could understand...

What about sandwiching them between 2 pieces of cardboard and stuffing them into the envelope? That way they won't be able to feel that its a coin.

Wonder if the coin moved hard enough that it broke through the envelope? Don't imagine letter shorting machines are very gentle.

it's possible, but the gap of the machines compared to the width of the coin isn't a problem they check first.

The most of the envelopes i have seen have been opened clear as day to remove the coin

I know a few people who work at CP, and I love em, they wouldn't take a piece of candy without asking first, but I absolutely despise canada post.
Nothing here yet, but being PEI, probably get here late next week.

Mine arrived yesterday , the envelope was starting to tear open on the end already , I wonder if they're handled roughly that the coins aren't getting tossed into the bottom of the sorting containers ?
The coins look cool as hell , and added to the fact that mine arrived before BSD's is even better lol !
