1.1.b An active account is defined as an account that has been active within 1 week of the contest drawing date. IF account is found to be inactive, Gun Owners of Canada, shall have the right to decide if the draw, shall be redrawn.
Yes seriously it is a random draw.
our last firearm won was in eastern canada via random draw.
Account activity isn't based on last post by last login.
some people login read and leave, in fact alot of people do.

Yes i do wish people would stick around and post more, we have tried tieing it to referrals, post counts etc, in the end we went the easy way and allowed everyone.
What're ya gonna do. The guy came, probably poked around a bit, entered and left. Not to his tastes perhaps, or maybe he's just not a big 'online' guy and someone just pointed it out to him. But the point of the contests is to encourage people to visit and check things out, so he did and not everyone's going to like every forum (or even any forum).
You guys can always do something someday to recognize the regular posters and people who make the best contributions or something anyway. I can imagine what my award would be if I won -
"WOW - a great bandana!! Hmm - according to the box the manufacturer is "G.A.G". Oh, there's instructions - lets see... so you .. then ... ! .. Well that's an unusual fashion statement..."

it may have to come to something more systematic. rections from ACTIVE members will start blossoming if 1 post wonders keep winning goc giveaways. thats not promoting the forum in any way. its free stuff for people who hear about it at CGN
