So I got a box in the mail from CSSA.

Here is what I found:
1. Welcome letter.
2. Membership card.
3. advertisement for Goldberg and FirearmLegalDefense.
4. 10% member disount card for Marks
5. Patch
6. Shooting Glasses w/ pouch (not gonna use as I wear glasses)
7. Bore light/laser pointer
8. sticker
9. pen
10. pin
11. ear plugs with case
12. small coffee mug (will only hold half a cup, so just going to collect dust)
13. Chamber Flag. (my range told us to use a zip tie, but this is better)
attachment.php

14. Very cool screw type key chain

Chamber flags and a trigger lock.

Or maybe the second one is a 20% noose, probably prohibited by now.

Definitely not a trigger lock. My first thought was it's a key chain. It is about the right size, but the loop doesn't open.

I don't think CSSA would send anyone something that is prohibited.

The orange ones are empty chamber flags.
If that piece of plastic is in the chamber, then a cartridge isn't in the chamber.
It also keeps the action open a bit, for those actions that can't be locked open.
The 'flag' end can be seen from a long way off.

"A Chamber Flag shows a SAFE Weapon. Also known as Open Bolt Indicator (OBI) or Empty Chamber Indicator (ECI), the brightly colored flag alerts the range officer and other shooters that the fire arm chamber is empty."

What sort of membership or donation earned so much swag?

On the back of the card it says General Member.

;D

I didn't know it came with any swag... on the website it only mention some magazine subscription.

:p
0 donation. I'm a cheapskate.

The bottom thingy is a red-neck nose ring.

I am reliably informed, at least I think I'm reliably informed, by the CSSA

It's a keychain.

Which presumably means there must be some way to open it.

Perhaps something like this

Thanks. I was looking for a clasp of some sort. Didn't know you could unscrew it.
