No such thing as "too much ammo"...

I try to keep a minimum of 1000 rounds for each gun I own. If I have multiple guns of the same caliber, then I have multiples of the 1000 round minimum.

When I see a good sale on ammo, that it's close to the cost of reloading, I buy as much as I can afford from my budget.

I do shoot quite a bit, I just keep rotating the ammo...

Luckily, my wife doesn't go into the gun/reloading room, so she has no idea about what I have in there... <LOL>
 
And a quick p.s. I'm not trying to belittle you or anything like that. I wouldn't do that, not an intention. I was just poking fun a bit, using a snappy movie quote. Sometimes my dry sense of humour doesn't translate to my typing...

There's tons of them... All over these nicely manicured fields and driving carts, and too fast to hit, though they do stop every 50 yds or so...

Gophers!!! Gophers??? Oh, I thought you meant golfers, my bad... No, not many gophers around here that I've been able to see. Lots of golfers though, but I don't think we're allowed to shoot them <LOL>...
