SITE UPGRADE INBOUND

The layout has been improved from the first one, I think. I can get over the change. I just didn't like that one administrator shitting in our mouths and telling us it was ice cream...

How the hell do you get a new line without hitting enter? I'm probably just going to say screw it and not bother to drop by any more. Mostly I come here for the memes anyway and this level of retardation is another level of frustration I do not need in my life

Other Issue I have noted is a lot of subforums that haven't had any posts since the upgrade show up as there is new posts unread - I've tried marking channel as read or going into multiple threads inside them but refresh the main page. Still shows unread. - I use Vivaldi and Brave primarily

Probably because Vbulletin has become more spastic and retarded in its default state because of all the "modern" features requested from forum hosts. Add in the previous version was mentioned so out of date, things being broken was inevitable.

Good morning everyone. We're still working thru some of the upgrade issues and we hope to have them sorted out shortly. Everyone at GOC would like to apologize for the 403 errors and the other quirks that have popped up but we are working on them.

  • BAD : Old posts/threads don't seem to be indexed/searchable.
I used to use search to find the "laugh" thread, or "projects working on", or "current polls", or "Poilievre running" threads -- but that doesn't work right now.

Interesting. Quote no longer gives a 403 error and clicking on the link-double-right-arrow VIEW POST works, even though there's an n after the semi-colon. [ QUOTE = Telos; n2329556 ]

We will rerun the index process tonight again. It might need a fix as we did it as soon as we cut over.

Funny little issue, I occasionally use clicking the logo to back out of threads I am to see if there updates after I go through updated content. I get a page with invalid page URL and sniffing the logo it returns "https://www.gunownersofcanada.ca/www.gunownersofcanada.ca/"
