Sometimes posts are blank?

For example…

3MTA3. I usually can’t see what he posts. The post is just blank. Nothing to read or click on. I can see all the other posts in the thread. I’m assuming it’s videos? Other peoples embedded video links work. I’m using safari on an iphone fyi.
 
If you push "Reply With Quote" you may find there's an image link in there.
If you copy-paste that link into a browser, you'll probably see what was in the post.

He's probably got one of those keyboards that only does invisible characters. That's my guess. :)

A lot of the blank posts I see are from people linking to sites that I block on my network. The laugh thread is the most common one where this happens

If others are playing stupid games writing hidden comments then I don't care what they are saying.

The others I don't see are the ones on my ever-growing ignore list... I went about a decade without one but lately it's growing almost as fast as inflation

If you use the INSERT IMAGE button, and choose URL, there's a "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" checkbox.

A bunch of the images I post to the Laugh thread are timestamped in the URL, and the timestamp expires after a few days. Had I used "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" they'd probably be visible. But I wouldn't be able to post 15 laugh posts a minute if I did that. :)

when I want to post "time stamped" images I copy them to imgur instead, but same problem it would slow your posting process.
 
imgur is one of the sites specifically blocked on my network

Some sites are *really* getting annoying. There is a forum I no longer go to as they changed their use policy - if you didn't allow all their device fingerprinting, tracking, etc you couldn't post. Even just browsing got stupid with the screen taken over with "accept or else" BS So... I'll never go back.
 
They are youtube links. For example…

I copied and pasted the url. I can’t see it in my own post. Looks like this isn’t embedded properly since it’s a url. Same vid as a test below but linked as a VIDEO instead of url.

Are you viewing using safari on an iphone?
I can see only the second of the two links i posted above. The top one is just a blank area with nothing to click on.
