I was just wondering why there is no sub forum for air guns in the Firearms and Optic Forum. I would wager quite a few Gun Owners of Canada members have and use air guns.

My son and I use an air rifle and air hand gun as an economical way of keeping our accuracy skills up to date. My moose hunting partners and I use air rifles to shoot grouse between the morning and evening hunts.

I think it would be nice to have a dedicated sub forum for air gun owners to converse about all the things concerning air guns.

Please don't get the idea that I am some sort of control freak, I just believe a dedicated air gun sub forum would a great addition to an already great site.

Thanks.

Thank you for the suggestion, at this time there are no plans to change the current layout of the forum or sections.

This also has been moved to the proper section

Join GTA or CAF.

Also I don't think there would be much use.

I'm not saying you have to join another forum, use the hobbies section.

An case could be made for an ATV section too, lot of gun owners have ATVs, but they use the hobbies section.

The focus of this forum is firearms first most.

I WAS LIED TO!

I was told this was a bacon first forum!

I'm assuming we're actually talking about air guns here, not air soft (which is lame).

I'd actually be interested in a sub-forum for the actual air gun parts.

Perhaps if enough threads get started about air guns in the Hobby forum, a new one might be created? Funnily enough, I just talked to a shooter at my range that had a wild air gun build, started life as a Crossman pump pistol, and is now a crazy airtanked, custom barrelled, handmade stocked, tack driver. Neat guy, very knowledgeable.
