1) I was going to ask you to clear your cache, but you've done that
2) try removing/disabling any browser plug ins that you don't want
3) see if you can force a browser software update
4) replace your hosts file with http://someonewhocares.org/hosts/

Update: today, everything is working just fine. I have no idea what I did, or what happened, but it's all working now.

Apparently, the Facebook thing has slowed the internet worldwide, as users flood the search engines looking for answers.
