Complaints about the forum being slow

All of a sudden, everything's working fine. Not super fast, but easily reasonably quick.
What's New At GOC is correctly formatted.
The buttons are there.
Laugh Thread's pictures are being resized again.
Reply With Quote works.
Edit works.
All the fonts and placement and other CSS things are good.
 
Site is working for me fast and fully functional although I am getting logged off as RangeBob has experienced.

Logging in is a small price to pay for functionality.

Thanks for working on the issues.
 
Totally fine right now. No logoff issue. Really quite pleasant.
 
Concur it was the worst I've seen it last night on the home ISP. Rogers SW Ont
Formatting even weirder than it has been, slower than dial-up to load, logon issue.
In the midst of that, the cell network still was rendering the site correctly and quick too.
This morning at a quick glance, all seems reasonably quick and correctly formatted.
No logon issue, but attempting to multi-quote gives the same result as 'reply with quote'

Site is dead on the PS3.

Nothing loads, just an error message.

100% sure it's the PS3. Browser always sucked, but they stopped supporting it a couple years ago after it reached it's 10 year mark. As it gets older and websites update, fewer and fewer actually work on it.
 
Man, to read GOC on the TV I’d need to crank the font up to 40 point.

Or maybe it was a SW Ontario (where I am) and a Rogers issue all along?

Whatever the issue was, site is now formatted correctly and is back to it's glorious fast speed!

Working fine.

The uBlock list of websites only has {gunownersofcanada.ca, editmysite.com} rather than that list of about 9 or 12 that's been there since uBlock was first mentioned in this thread (and possibly for more than a month before that). Perhaps that has something to do with the speed up.

Yup all is working great again. Thanks Nate... BTW, I was chatting with Ryan on Saturday, and was mentioning this to him, and that's why he texted you... <LOL> I didn't ask him to, but his words were "Lets see if I can wind him up". <LMAO>
